India’s Restaurant is owned and operated by brothers Gurdev Singh and Narinder Singh who come from Punjab in North India with over 38 years of experience in restaurant industry. India’s Restaurant was opened in Southside of Jacksonville in July 1997. It has been serving community and customers with lot of pride since then.

Punjab our place of birth and education is called “The Smiling Soul of India”. Enterprise and endeavour, symbolize the essential spirit of the people of Punjab. Since Independence, over 5 decades, the state has earned its epithet: "of Granary India" through the enterprising spirit, and untiring toil of its people. Punjab is a land of rivers, fertile soils and steady achievement. The culture of Punjab, from among the cultures of the world, has its own unique fragrance. It is unmatched. The scent of this fertile land is such in which the warmth of you-are-my-own is inborn. Bhangra and Giddha are famous folk dances of Punjab. All communities hold pride in their traditions and the Punjabi whose open mindedness has become proverbial also hold their unique tradition of hospitality high in their estimation as well as in their values of life.
